December 19th, 2011, Hallie was born. She is our daughter. She was beautiful. She had full Trisomy 13 and was given a "not compatible with life" diagnosis at our 13-week prenatal appointment. Although we knew what our chances were, Hallie was worth every one of them. Giving her a chance at life, no matter how short, was something I will never regret.
I miss Hallie everyday. Every day. Her life changed me. It changed our family. We thank God for Hallie.
Many families were dealt the same news today. Many other mothers have unexpected losses. Their helpless hurting causes us to stop, remember, and walk alongside.
Although we don't have answers, our hope is to help grieving families remember their precious babies and to create keepsakes that are as unique as their story and their child.
